This Friday, October 16, MAAYA hosts the Festival of Lights Clubnights for the very first time! And we're bringing something special to the city. A night where light, music, art and people from all walks of life come together.
Here's what you can expect:
As part of the Festival of Lights Clubnights, we're transforming MAAYA into a colourful world of light and creativity! Expect spectacular projections and immersive visuals inspired by African art and culture, lighting up our building, pool area and outdoor spaces. Walk around, explore the installations, take photos and experience MAAYA like you've never seen it before.

And no, the light show at the Festival of Lights Clubnights doesn't end at 10pm! The outdoor projections and light installations continue while we open the doors to our indoor space, taking the experience to another level. Inside, expect even more stunning visuals, immersive light effects and a dancefloor surrounded by colours and moving projections, while our DJs take you on a musical journey through Afrobeats, Amapiano, Kuduro, Gqom and Afro House. Whether you're coming for the art, the music, the atmosphere or simply to experience something different in Berlin, there's a place for you here. Different cultures, different backgrounds, one shared experience. This is a celebration of creativity, music and connection. Everyone is welcome!

Light art meets club culture: Techno and trance classics in the heart of the Festival of Lights Berlin!
A true highlight for all electronic music lovers at this year’s Festival of Lights Berlin! A spectacular courtyard serves as the backdrop for an event that blends breathtaking art projections with legendary techno and trance sounds from the ’90s and 2000s.
Leading this musical journey is none other than the internationally renowned top DJ and Festival of Lights music producer Chris Bekker! Celebrated worldwide alongside trance greats like Paul van Dyk, he brings his unmistakable, driving sound straight to the heart of Berlin. He’ll be supported by, among others, a true Berlin institution: DJ Johann de Beers, whose career began in the early days of the rave scene in the ’90s at the KitKatClub. Together, they’ll transform the Court into a pulsating open-air venue.

FeelNature & xXETEXx meets FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS CLUBNIGHTS

On Saturday, October 10, two Berlin-based psychedelic music crews will showcase the best they have to offer—with an international lineup. They are known for their outstanding decorations and light installations at their events. Just a stone’s throw from Friedrichstraße, they will create a very special interplay of music and light for one night at a brand-new venue—an experience guaranteed to transport you to a parallel world unlike any other. From techno to dark, psychedelic sounds, there’s a wide variety of genres to discover. Accompanied by live-controlled light installations, it’s an experience for all the senses!

GLXY RAVE

From the depths of outer space, a new, extraterrestrial event series is landing in Berlin Mitte on October 16: GLXY RAVE. Across multiple dance floors, hardgroove, abstract techno, trance, and bouncy sounds meet raw architecture, lighting, and a futuristic warehouse vibe. With the GLXY Newcomer Empowerment Contest, the next generation of DJs also gets the chance to secure a spot in the lineup—and to win prizes that make it easier to break into the world of music production. IRRENHOUSE – FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS CLUBNIGHTS – LAST PARTY

On October 17, Berlin’s legendary “Irrenhouse”—created by and featuring the multi-talented Nina Queer—will transform the new PKH Warehouse on Dorotheenstraße into a gigantic total work of art. Get ready for a night where the boundaries between club culture and an immersive art exhibition completely disappear!
Electronic Floor: Dance in the midst of art: Here, expansive light installations meet pulsating club sounds. The visual highlights come directly from Nina Queer’s private art collection; she has been known for her spectacular light installations for over 20 years. Light, shadow, fog, and bass merge into a world where you’re not just standing on the sidelines, but dancing right in the middle of the art. On the decks: DJ ELEETE, Stefan Biniak, and Alex Blume send electronic energy coursing through the warehouse.
Pop Floor: The Here & Now: Not some dusty oldies party, but a pop floor for the present! DJ U-Seven and DJ POMOZ—two of Germany’s most in-demand pop DJs right now—are teaming up. With an infallible feel for the crowd, they’ll deliver brand-new pop music, surprising mixes, and anthems that’ll have you dancing nonstop.
Drag, Comedy & Berlin Madness: Get ready for the ultimate entertainment: Nina Queer, Sascha Glam, and Katy Bähm present a sharp-tongued drag comedy show blending glamour, Berlin sass, and total loss of control.
